An internationally successful conductor who drastically cuts down his career and only retreats to his childhood village in Norrland. It doesn't take long until he is asked to come and listen to the small group of church choirs that practice every Thursday in the parish hall. Just come and maybe give Achen good advice. He has a hard time saying no and from that moment on, nothing in the village will be the same...
