After losing elections, Refugees Eviction Minister Giorgi Mchedlishvili is stripped of office, car, income, and power. His chair, a living being, urges him to act, but his efforts fail. He marries Donara, a refugee, yet the new government orders his family's eviction. Confrontations with media, relatives, and police escalate, until Giorgi, aided by the chair, escapes unseen toward his village.
